About this Opportunity
This clinic-based role will include responsibilities for training our clinical staff, comprised of Medical Assistants (MAs), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), and Paramedics, in addition to process development.

Some of the day-to-day duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Onboard and train new clinical staff on point of care testing, phlebotomy skills, and EMR documentation workflows
  • Partner with Clinical Operations to enhance and improve the onboarding program
  • Develop protocols for Medical Assistants (MAs), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), and Paramedics to ensure clinical efficiencies and safe patient care
  • Train clinical staff on implementing new workflows and procedures
  • Regularly assess skills of clinical staff and provide retraining when necessary
  • Perform internal audits on laboratory management and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Additional duties as assigned

What are the requirements for this position?

  • Licensed medical professional (such as Paramedic or LPN) with minimum 5 years of clinical experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a clinical trainer
  • Experience with training diverse groups of healthcare professionals
  • Experience with EHRs, preferably Thena, and basic office tools such as email, Outlook calendar, etc.
  • Strong verbal, written, and reading comprehension skills in English
  • Ability to work regular office hours Monday through Friday
  • Ability to work for any employer in the United States
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with moderate supervision
  • Willingness to work with complex populations to resolve medical issues quickly
