As an early member of our Finance team, you’ll have a key role in rebuilding our country’s most important and most broken industry from first principles. You will be a key factor in helping leadership make crucial business decisions and will be navigating through the most impactful problems we have as a company.
You Will:
- Scale the accounting and financial operations
- Own, execute and automate all key accounting and finance operations processes, including order-to-cash, procure to pay, hire to retire, and record to report
- Partner with engineers, product managers, and operators to build out and implement financial systems and strategic infrastructure investments
- Leverage technology and design to build scalable & efficient finance processes
- Develop and execute key accounting policies and controls for our company
- Build relationships with cross-disciplinary teams of physicians, designers, and engineers to enable rapid scaling of the business
You Are:
- Impact-Driven - You’re deeply mission-driven, and you think there’s more to life than software that enables puppy ears to be superimposed in photos. (Although we concede those are cute.)
- Entrepreneurial - You’re a self-starter who loves to own things end-to-end. You don’t ask for permission - you’re too busy making things happen.
- A Good Helicopter - You can alternate between 10,000 foot and 10-foot views easily, and at the right time. Creating and communicating the roadmap for a long-term cross-functional project? Diving into a detailed and thorough data investigation? All in a day’s work.
- An Operational Wizard- You have a deep understanding of how to break down and solve complex, ambiguous problems with a demonstrated track of building efficient, scalable processes
- A Leader - You’re kind, collaborative and humble. Teams want to be in the trenches with you, and to build something great by your side.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7+ years experience with a background in accounting operations, financial operations, management consulting, or related field
- Collaborative style and ability to work with cross-functional teams and vendors
- Exceptional analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication (both written and oral)
- BA/BS required
- CPA required
- Legally authorized to be employed in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Big Four experience a plus but not required
- Startup experience is a major plus, but not required
- Experience with Coupa, ADP, Netsuite, Bill.com, Expensify, or similar technologies

WHY JOIN FORWARD?
