Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Learning & Development Specialist to join our growing financial services startup. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing training programs within a fast-paced startup environment. You will be instrumental in building a robust learning culture from the ground up, enhancing the skills and knowledge of our sales team, and ensuring they are well-equipped to meet and exceed performance goals while complying with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Program Development: Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of the sales team, including onboarding, financial product training, sales techniques, and compliance training.
- Needs Assessment: Conduct regular assessments to identify skills gaps and training needs within the sales organization, with a focus on financial services.
- Content Creation: Create engaging and effective training materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, videos, and presentations, with a focus on financial products and services.
- Evaluation: Develop and utilize assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of training programs and the impact on sales performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously update training programs based on feedback, industry trends, regulatory changes, and sales performance data.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales managers and other stakeholders to align training initiatives with business objectives, sales strategies, and compliance requirements.
- Technology Utilization: Leverage learning management systems (LMS) and other technologies to deliver and track training programs.
- Startup Culture Building: Play a key role in establishing and nurturing a learning culture within a startup environment, contributing to the overall growth and development of the organization.
Compensation:
- You will be paid a competitive base salary, an annual discretionary bonus, and Equity Options
Qualifications:
Required:
- 5+ years of L&D leadership experience in a sales environment
- OR 10+ years in L&D non-leadership experience
- Experience building a program from scratch
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS), e-learning tools, and virtual training platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
