Talent Development Program Manager
Faire
About Faire
Faire is an online wholesale marketplace built on the belief that the future is local — independent retailers around the globe are doing more revenue than Walmart and Amazon combined, but individually, they are small compared to these massive entities. At Faire, we're using the power of tech, data, and machine learning to connect this thriving community of entrepreneurs across the globe. Picture your favorite boutique in town — we help them discover the best products from around the world to sell in their stores. With the right tools and insights, we believe that we can level the playing field so that small businesses everywhere can compete with these big box and e-commerce giants.
By supporting the growth of independent businesses, Faire is driving positive economic impact in local communities, globally. We’re looking for smart, resourceful and passionate people to join us as we power the shop local movement. If you believe in community, come join ours.
About this role
The Talent Development team’s vision is for Faire to be the defining career experience of every employee’s life. We bring this to life by designing and managing programs that enable individual success and power Faire’s growth — from how we give feedback, to how we grow as leaders, to how we identify and invest in future talent.
We’re looking for a Talent Development Program Manager who’s excited to take ownership, improve what exists, and shape what’s next. In this role, you’ll lead and support some of our most critical talent programs — including performance reviews, leadership development for new managers and individual contributors, and talent planning efforts like succession and talent reviews. You’ll be part of a small, collaborative team with a big mandate, working across the company to ensure our programs are clear, inclusive, and built to scale.
What you’ll do
- Run and continuously improve our performance review process, making it simple, fair, and actionable for employees and managers
- Support and evolve talent management programs like succession planning and talent reviews that help us identify, develop, and retain great people
- Explore how AI can enhance development, from streamlining feedback to making learning more personalized and accessible
- Create easy-to-use tools, communications, and resources that make it simple for employees and managers to navigate our programs
- Use feedback and data to drive improvements, identifying what’s working, what’s not, and where we can do better
- Stay informed on trends in talent development, bringing in new ideas and approaches that raise the bar
- Partner closely with HRBPs, DEI, and People Operations to deliver a consistent employee experience across all People team programs
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in talent development, learning & development, HR, or a related people-focused role
- Track record of owning and executing programs or projects with multiple stakeholders
- Clear and concise communication skills — both written and verbal
- Comfortable working independently, seeking input when needed, and navigating ambiguity
- Curiosity about how AI and new tools can improve the employee experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
