POSITION SUMMARY

eGenesis is seeking a Senior IT Manager to play a key role in our technology operations and cybersecurity efforts. Reporting directly to the Director of Information Technology and Cybersecurity, you will bring technical expertise and leadership skills. You will focus on enhancing our IT infrastructure and cybersecurity frameworks to meet organizational goals. In addition to daily operations and problem-solving, you will also be responsible for shaping our technology sourcing strategies to align with the broader objectives of the business.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in planning and implementing IT initiatives, including infrastructure, operations, and cybersecurity
Lead day-to-day IT operations to ensure high availability, optimal performance, and user satisfaction
Manage Help Desk, focusing on timely and effective support
Implement measures to protect data, systems, and networks
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Monitor vendor SLAs and manage escalations and issues
Oversee hardware assets, software inventory, and licenses
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT and security into business processes
Align IT products and sourcing strategies with business goals
Assist in developing disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Evaluate emerging technologies for potential adoption
Manage IT projects and timelines under senior management guidance
Serve as a liaison between IT and other business units
Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and stakeholders

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field is preferred
A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Information Technology
Prior experience providing PC support within a bio/pharmaceutical laboratory setting is advantageous
Proven expertise in developing and implementing on-premises and cloud-based data network solutions
Hands-on experience in managing data integration across multiple vendors and data sources
Competency in providing IT support to both office-based and remote field employees
Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all organizational levels effectively
Strong project management skills, including handling multiple projects concurrently and meeting deadlines
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills are required
Adaptability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment
Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, tools, and operating systems, including MS MDM Autopilot/Intune Management and Administration, Creation and Testing of device policies such as Security and Compliance, and Intune Application packaging of W32 apps
O365 (Office/MS Teams/SharePoint/OneDrive/eDiscovery/PowerBI)
