The Position
Earli, Inc. is currently seeking a dynamic Senior/Research Associate who is inspired to change the world by pushing the scientific envelope.
Your Primary Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain cell lines and primary cell-based models using aseptic cell culture techniques
- Perform cell-based assays (i.e. fluorescence microscopy, PCR, etc.) for evaluation of proliferation, viability, toxicity and Quality Assurance of cell lines and banks
- Occasionally perform flow cytometry and colorimetry-based assays to characterize cell lines
- Maintain detailed documentation of experimental methods, results, and inventory of cell lines and materials in organized lab records
- Work and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and present findings internally
Your Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills
- BS or MS degree in Life Sciences or Cell Biology or Immunology with 1-2 years biotech industry or equivalent research experience
- Demonstrated expertise in aseptic cell culture of mammalian cells and primary cell lines, including maintenance and creation of research/master cell banks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Offices suite, experience with good documentation and data record keeping are required
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced, adaptive, collaborative environment
- Hands-on experience and knowledge in microscopy, standard molecular biology techniques including DNA/RNA isolation, PCR, and qPCR is a plus
- Familiarity with digital laboratory notebook applications is a plus
