To further this mission, we’re looking for a marketer who will sit at the intersection of growth, brand, product, and operations, to develop integrated marketing strategies for our consumer business at DoorDash. The integrated marketing team is a group of marketing generalists responsible for translating business goals into marketing strategies and serving as the general manager across the organization to bring those strategies to market.
About the Role
The Canada Partnership Marketing team is looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial, and data-driven marketer to grow DoorDash's Marketplace. The Manager, Partnership Marketing leads the marketing across ENT RX, NV, SMB verticals as well as strategic partnerships. This role drives the strategy and execution of programs driving growth for key merchants that also deliver value to customers and fuel long-term growth for DD. The Partnership Marketing Team is lean and fast-moving, meaning you’ll have an immediate opportunity to take ownership and drive significant impact on a rapidly-growing space within an exciting brand. We are looking for a passionate, innovative individual who will continue upleveling our thinking around partner programs, bringing together key internal partners and driving clarity, and building and growing relationships with key merchants.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
- Grow marketing relationships with key external merchant partners, as well as strategic partners such as PC Optimum, balancing partner and DoorDash goals.
- Work with the Senior Manager, Partnership Marketing and other marketing Pod leads (Growth, Brand, Retention) to execute strategic planning and coordinate execution of marketing initiatives to support growth.
- Communicate with these cross-functional partners on the status and progress of initiatives, how the campaigns are tracking towards goals, and proactively identify and flag risks to leadership as well as mitigation strategies.
- Conceive, pitch, negotiate, win, and execute incremental and exclusive opportunities to feature DoorDash alongside top merchants across the country.
- Act as the “glue” for the teams within the marketing org to ensure plans are developed and executed in a unified and cohesive manner, and align those plans with the priorities of the business by working closely with cross-functional stakeholders across strategy & ops, EPMs, and finance.
- Use a data-first approach to optimize campaigns against our goals, improve profitability, drive results, and identify new opportunities for growth.
We’re excited about you because you have…
- You have 6+ years of consumer marketing Go-To-Market planning and execution experience, preferably within the retail, food-service, or grocery industries.
- You have a clear understanding of the full-funnel marketing mix across a variety of online and offline mediums including media (OOH, paid search/display/social), experiential, in-store, PR etc and how they work together to present a cohesive and integrated campaign in market.
- You have experience in partner management and an understanding of how to operate with a partner-centric mindset.
- You are experienced in managing budgets and allocating spend across marketing levers to drive the biggest and most efficient impact.
- You have experience in analyzing data to understand and determine performance and to glean insights for future work.
- You are proactive and solution-oriented and know how to seek the answers you need.
- You are a strong communicator and are comfortable dealing with various levels of seniority within an organization.
- You possess incredible organizational skills and attention to detail because you strive for execution excellence
- You lead with curiosity and seek out opportunities to do things differently and drive innovation to improve business impact
Compensation
Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.
