About the Team
The Platform Account Development team drives adoption and growth of DoorDash Platform solutions across hundreds of thousands of SMB restaurant partners in the U.S. (SMB defined as ≤150 locations).
This team works closely with Account Management to understand each restaurant’s first-party growth goals — including online ordering and owned channel expansion — and delivers tailored solutions that unlock long-term value.
About the Role
As Manager, Strategic Account Development, you will lead a team of frontline sales representatives responsible for achieving SMB Platform volume goals. You will play a critical role in driving sales performance by hiring, developing, and coaching top talent while fostering an inclusive, high-energy, and performance-oriented culture.
You will report to the Senior Manager, Strategic Account Development, and lead a distributed team across the U.S. This is a remote role and must be based within the United States.

- Source, interview, and hire high-caliber sales talent
- Develop structured onboarding and ongoing development programs
- Lead pipeline strategy, forecasting, and deal reviews
- Coach reps through 1:1 sessions focused on performance, skill development, and deal execution

- Scale best practices and build a high-performance culture across the team
- Stay close to the customer by engaging directly with merchants
- Leverage insights from frontline conversations to improve processes, messaging, and programs
- Partner cross-functionally to remove friction and enhance both merchant and employee experiences

- 3+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, in addition to 5+ years of experience as an individual contributor in sales

Compensation
Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants and sales commission. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

See below for paid time off details:
- For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
- For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
