About the Team

The New Verticals Implementation Team is on the ground floor of building DoorDash’s next big business. Partnering closely with teams to establish the critical relationship between DoorDash and the Merchant. We manage onboarding, implementation, and launch for Merchants joining the platform.

About the Role

The Senior Implementation Associate on DoorDash’s New Verticals Implementation Team plays a key role in launching new SMB merchant partnerships.

This role manages the full merchant journey—from late-stage sales through onboarding, implementation, and post-launch support—ensuring smooth setup, optimized platform presence, and operational efficiency.

The position requires strong project management, cross-functional collaboration, and direct engagement with merchants. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of experience in Implementation, Customer Success, or Account Management, along with familiarity with POS systems, Open APIs, or SFTP integrations.

You bring Project Management & Organizational Skills

    • The ability to manage multiple merchant implementations simultaneously, from onboarding to post-launch, while coordinating across teams and ensuring timelines are met.

You excel at Client Communication & Relationship Building.

    • Strong communication skills to guide merchants through the implementation process, set clear expectations, and provide ongoing support—building trust and ensuring a positive experience.

Have a healthy dose of Technical Aptitude & Problem-Solving skills

    • Technically savvy with strong problem-solving skills—able to navigate systems, troubleshoot issues, and adapt quickly in dynamic environments

Compensation

Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for sales commission. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

  • For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
  • For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
