About the Team

DoorDash & Wolt’s Global Talent Intelligence (GTI) function is a brand-new pillar inside Workforce Strategy & Recruiting Operations (RecOps). Our charter is simple but sweeping: turn external labor-market noise into crisp, actionable intelligence that helps TA, Finance, and business leaders hire the right talent, in the right place, at the right cost—first. We own everything “outside the walls” of DoorDash: competitor movement, supply-and-demand signals, location cost curves, skills trends, and employer-brand positioning.

About the Role

This role will require you to work out of an East Coast Time zone.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Workforce Strategy and Planning, the Manager, Global Talent Intelligence is our resident market-intelligence authority. You will design, run, and continuously improve the GTI program—hands-on with the data, deep in the methodology, and shoulder-to-shoulder with partners and leaders across the Business, Recruiting, Finance, Compensation. You own the “outside-in” lens: real-time market monitoring, location benchmarking, and competitor talent analytics that directly upgrade Locations strategy, sourcing strategy and executive decision-making.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Shape an entirely new capability: build GTI from the ground up and own its long-term roadmap.
  • Turn data into decisions: create concise, compelling narratives that inform nine-figure labor-cost and location bets.
  • Own real-time market intelligence: track competitor moves, talent-supply shifts, and pay trends, surfacing insights that recruiters deploy immediately.
  • Drive location strategy: publish data-rich scorecards on where to open, scale, or consolidate global sites, partnering with Real Estate and Finance.
  • Coach and raise the bar: mentor analysts, set methodological standards, and foster a culture of curiosity and integrity in data use.
  • Embed intelligence in workflows: partner with People Analytics to weave external intel into dashboards, ATS, and recruiter playbooks.
  • Run the business cadence: lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews; facilitate retros to keep methods sharp and insights relevant.
  • Operate on a global canvas: influence talent strategy across ~30 countries—and counting.

We’re excited about you because you…

  • Bring 5–8 years in talent intelligence, labor-market research, or competitive intelligence, with a global lens.
  • Are a master storyteller—able to distill complex datasets into executive-ready narratives and present confidently to VP/C-suite audiences.
  • Have proven vision-setting chops—you’ve stood up new capabilities or programs and driven adoption across functions.
  • Possess strong market-data fluency with platforms like Lightcast, LinkedIn Talent Insights, Revelio, etc., and can guide analysts on best use.
  • Excel at consultative partnership, collaborating with Compensation, People Analytics, Finance, and TA to inform workforce decisions.
  • Demonstrate people-leadership skills, setting clear standards, coaching junior talent, and nurturing a high-integrity, high-impact culture.
  • Approach work with a continuous-improvement mindset, leveraging Lean/Kaizen principles to refine processes and deliverables.
