About the Team

The Equity Team operates at the intersection of Accounting, Payroll, HR, Compensation, Legal, and Tax, which gives us a unique opportunity to create value across the organization. We are in an exciting period of growth, working to create the framework to operate equity programs at scale for one of the fastest growing companies.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager, Global Equity Programs to lead the strategy and development of our stock plan administration platform, which enables DoorDash to efficiently manage our equity compensation programs and empowers employees to understand and maximize their equity. You will be responsible for building scalable, compliant, and intuitive tools that support the end-to-end administration of stock plans—ranging from grants and vesting schedules to employee taxation and reporting. You'll collaborate closely with DoorDash IT, engineering, legal, finance, and customer-facing teams to deliver world-class equity management solutions.

This role requires a mix of product vision, technical know-how, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional leadership. In our world, every equity-related transaction should appear seamless. To achieve this you will take on complex challenges in a fast-paced environment where customer service is paramount. You will report into the Sr. Director, Global Equity Programs on the Equity team in our Accounting organization.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Define and own the product roadmap for the multi-year product strategy for global equity systems and processes, including core workflows such as granting, vesting, exercising, tax reporting, and participant experience
  • Lead cross-functional work streams spanning a broad group of stakeholders including software and hardware engineering, design, operations, legal, policy, communications, and business development.
  • Define KPIs and communicate product strategy and results to key stakeholders including the leadership team
  • Gather insights from customers (HR/comp teams, finance, legal) and end users (employees) to identify pain points and opportunities
  • Ensure the platform meets global compliance standards (e.g., SEC, IRS, ASC 718, ISO, 409A, ESPPs, and international regulations)
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance to implement accurate, audit-ready reporting and rule-based plan configurations
  • Partner with design to simplify complex workflows and make equity management accessible to non-experts
  • Use product analytics and feedback loops to drive continuous improvement and adoption
  • Support integration efforts with global payroll, PeopleApps, and broker financial systems
  • Mentor team members and contribute to broader product strategy within the equity compensation domain

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have relevant experience. You have 3-5+ years of experience in growth, product, or solutions architecture, with 2+ years focussed in HR, equity compensation administration, or financial products and services – ideally in a fast-paced environment focused on outcomes.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering scalable solutions in regulated environments
  • You’re even-keeled: you thrive under pressure and maintain a sense of calm when facing challenging and time-sensitive goals.
  • You’re detail-oriented: you have meticulous attention to detail, ensuring no small element is overlooked. Your thoroughness helps you anticipate issues and plan beyond immediate tasks.
  • You’re a strong communicator —able to translate complex legal and financial requirements into clear product features, and have experience crafting and presenting business reviews to senior executives
  • You move fast: speed excites you. You prefer to achieve results today rather than waiting for tomorrow.
  • You can toggle between strategic and tactical: you’re equally comfortable with thinking through complex problems and getting into the weeds to execute.
  • You are an eager learner: ecomm, tech and digital spaces are rapidly evolving, but you enjoy learning how to incorporate new technologies into your approach and are ready to self-teach by diving into technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with Agile development processes, Jira, Confluence, Figma, and product analytics tools
  • Strong knowledge of system lifecycles, IT governance, and business process design
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Deloitte GAIN, Equity Edge Online)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Finance, Computer Science); MBA or CEP (Certified Equity Professional) is a plus
