About the Team

The Global Strategic Sourcing team at DoorDash is responsible for aligning effective sourcing and purchasing strategies with long-term business goals. This team conducts the business process to analyze, review, and implement third-party external spend, while ensuring sourcing resources are efficient and focused on important categories or larger company initiatives.

About the Role

The Sr. Analyst, Global Strategic Sourcing - Marketing will be part of the Global Strategic Sourcing team. This is a new individual contributor role for our team. You will play a critical role in driving value, efficiency, and innovation in our marketing supply chain. You will collaborate with leaders and operators across the company to provide cost savings and positively impact free cash flow. Subcategories supported include, but not limited to: creative, media, social, influencers, sponsorships and production.

You will report into the Senior Manager on our Global Strategic Sourcing team in our Finance organization. You will work a hybrid model from our Mexico City office in Coyoacan, going in 1-2x a week, with occasional travel for team events / offsites.

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activities for key Marketing categories.
  • Translate business goals and marketing plans into actionable sourcing strategies.
  • Develop and execute RFIs/RFPs, ensuring competitive vendor selection and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Finance, Legal, Security, and other internal teams to support campaign execution and supplier decisions.
  • Influence marketing and business partners to adopt best practices, value-driven sourcing, and supplier diversity.
  • Lead contract negotiation and management for marketing services, ensuring cost competitiveness, service-level accountability, and risk mitigation.
  • Manage supplier onboarding, renewals, amendments, and compliance activities.
  • Establish and maintain KPIs, scorecards, and supplier performance review mechanisms.
  • Proactively resolve escalations and foster strategic partnerships with top suppliers and agencies.
  • Identify and deliver cost optimization opportunities across marketing spend categories.
  • Track and report against savings goals and sourcing efficiency metrics.
  • Stay current on marketing trends, supplier landscape, and category innovations.
  • Provide thought leadership on sourcing frameworks, value levers, and vendor evaluation methods.

We're excited about you because you have…

  • 5+ years of hands-on sourcing experience in marketing procurement, agency/vendor management, or category management.
  • Proven track record in leading commercial negotiations and managing complex supplier relationships in the marketing domain.
  • Experience developing procurement strategies and driving sourcing events for marketing services.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills—able to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Collaborative mindset with excellent communication and influencing abilities across stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Coupa, Zip and Google Suite; experience in contract lifecycle (Intelagree) and other procurement systems a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.
