We are looking for top talent to play a pivotal role in growing our International New Verticals business! About the Role

As an Associate Manager on the ANZ International New Verticals S&O team, you will own growth for a portion of our New Verticals businesses in Australia. You will lead short term execution and long term strategy, grow our topline volume, ideate on our promotion strategy, and lead our go-to-market for new merchants, as well as so much more. You will work cross-functionally with marketing, account managers, analytics, and finance. This role is equal parts strategy development and individual execution.

You will report into the Senior Manager, New Verticals - International Growth.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Strategise. From first principles, you’ll support in developing the optimal strategy for best serving our customers and helping our merchant partners grow their businesses.
  • Analyse. You’ll analyze the customer and use that data to inform strategy. You’ll assess the operational and financial impacts of your decisions, and iterate based on data.
  • Experiment. You’ll validate potential new business strategies through rigorous testing you run. You’ll ensure we can derive measurable and actionable insights from our key initiatives and share those learnings with the broader team.
  • Build. You’ll do whatever it takes to launch, get 1% better every day, and scale something completely new. This means everything from high-level strategy to nitty-gritty operational details.

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have 5+ years experience in strategy consulting, strategy and operations, retail, or fast-moving technology companies
  • You are a self-starter – You have a bias for action and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • You are a problem solver – You have a talent for synthesising complex problems, can translate high-level goals into actionable plans, and enjoy implementing a process.
  • Proven analytical skills – You have a working knowledge of SQL, are proficient at quickly understanding a problem and developing action oriented hypotheses, and conduct deep-dive analyses into specific issues to bottom out root cause analysis
  • You work to get 1% better every day – You're always looking for opportunities to better your work product and own the outcome, both the good and the bad
