About the Team

The GTM Technology team enables the productivity of our sales and go-to-market organizations through intelligent workflows, reliable data and scalable systems. We partner with groups across the company including Product, Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Analytics to build critical systems and enable the business to move faster. This team builds the engine and foundation for DoorDash to achieve the best selection for our customer offerings and grows revenue across our business lines.

About the Role

We are looking for a strong engineer to join DoorDash’s GTM Technology team. Your mission will be to transform our GTM applications, empowering business scale, efficiency, and compliance. You will drive technical designs and execution with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering. Execution will involve full stack technologies, microservices, database designs, object-oriented programming, knowledge of AWS infrastructure and building automations using third-party platforms such as Salesforce and Mulesoft.

  • A problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity and fast pace environments.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A seasoned full-stack engineer with 2+ years of experience and a track record of building scalable distributed systems.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and deliverables at once while keeping tight and ever-changing deadlines is a must
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, Node.JS, and declarative frontend UI frameworks such as React.
  • Proficiency in Java / Python, Git, gRPC / RESTful API design, deep knowledge of AWS infrastructure and scaling system performance
  • Ability to develop automations / integrations using third party applications such as Salesforce and Mulesoft.
  • Analytically strong with A+ written and verbal communications skills
  • Be mentoring team members to upskill and help prioritize their workload with clear plans with milestones.
  • See impact of your work first-hand with productive and personal interactions with our customers.
  • Be the advisor for the team’s techstack by partnering with broader engineering leadership and guide in the right direction..
  • Build the vision and strategy for the team by understanding the customer problems and influence the roadmap for the team

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington.
