About the Team

DoorDash’s New Verticals organization focuses on accelerating one of our strategic pillars ⁠— DashMart, our grocery and convenience delivery offering. We’re building and scaling new ways to delight our customers, leveraging the DoorDash platform. This role sits on our Space Planning & Analytics team as part of the broader Strategic Real Estate organization, ensuring that we get the most out of our physical space across our DashMart Real Estate portfolio.

About the Role

As a Senior Associate on the DashMart Strategy & Operations team, you will work on the ideation and execution of key strategic initiatives that will impact all order of operations with how our DashMarts operate. You may work on initiatives ranging from improving site level optimization to improving metrics critical to the long term business strategy or even participating in getting new products/services launched inside of our sites! You will partner closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, finance, and local operations to bring initiatives to life, analyze their performance, and then iterate accordingly. You will sit on our DashMart Strategy & Operations team, within our New Verticals organization. This is an individual contributor position.

  • Collaborate. You will work cross-functionally to bring your initiatives to life, maintaining a close partnership with our product, eng, finance, and local operations teams

We’re excited about you because…

  • You’re an analytical yet strategic thinker. You are comfortable manipulating and analyzing data to make strategic decisions. You have experience with SQL and Microsoft Excel
  • You’re an operator. You are able to manage multiple concurrent projects through ideation to execution. You operate at the lowest level of detail and are able to root cause problems before proposing solutions.
  • You have a strong attention to detail. You have the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, and the tenacity to solve many disparate problems for multiple stakeholders at once.
  • You have 2-4+ years experience in operations, technology, supply chain, construction management, consulting, business development, banking, analytics, high-growth or early-stage startup or related experience.
  • You have a completed Bachelor’s Degree.

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington.
