About the Team

The Global Strategic Sourcing and Procurement team at DoorDash is responsible for aligning effective sourcing and purchasing strategies with long-term business goals. This team conducts the business process to analyze, review, and implement third-party external spend, while ensuring procurement resources are efficient and focused on important categories or larger company initiatives.

About the Role

The Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Analyst will be a generalist on the Global Strategic Sourcing and Procurement team. This is a new individual contributor role for our team, who will be involved in several categories such as Business Process Outsourcing, Professional Services, Marketing and Real Estate. This person will drive success in processes, systems, and contract negotiation. You will drive efficiency and savings by adopting a ”spend it like it is yours” mindset.

You will report into the Manager, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement on our Global Strategic Sourcing team in our Finance organization. You will work hybrid, going onsite to a local DoorDash office.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Guide business stakeholders through DoorDash procurement and sourcing standardized processes, including: Corporate policies, Purchase Requisition/Order platform management, Contract Lifecycle Management and Template management (RFx, vendor scorecards, new request intake, requirement gathering)
  • Perform contract review and contract execution activities, including: Non-Disclosure Agreements, Statements of Work, Master Service Agreements, etc. You will ensure key commercial terms are negotiated and documented in applicable agreements.
  • Demonstrate a customer-centric approach when resolving issues.
  • Influence, educate and manage internal stakeholders on best practices for sourcing and contracting towards long-term solutions.
  • Benchmark and facilitate best practices, analyze and monitor compliance, and drive improvements through reporting and recommendations.

We're excited about you because…

  • 1-3 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Operations, Strategy, or related role in well established companies
  • Demonstrated the ability to take complex concepts and present them in a consumable way to influence stakeholders
  • Experienced with Google Suite or related software, such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experienced with Coupa (or comparable P2P system) and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform.
  • Participated in improving strategic sourcing best practices and negotiation.
