DoorDash is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Fraud platform team in San Francisco. The Fraud team is responsible for upholding the trust and safety of our overall platform. There's a wide breadth of problems to solve across mobile, web, backend, machine learning including building a real-time risk engine that evaluates every transaction and behavior, the necessary infrastructure for us to make accurate decisions in real-time, and the science behind fighting fraudsters!

About the Role

As the manager responsible for the Fraud Platform team, you will be driving the technical strategy, vision and execution of the teams and also lead the innovation of the platform capabilities to empower teams to fight fraud effectively, enable informed decision-making and sustainable business growth.

Develop senior talents and leads, both from growing internal talents and attracting top talents.

We’re excited about you because…

You have a B.S., M.S., or PhD. in Computer Science or equivalent
You have 10+ years of industry experience with 2+ years of management experience
You’re experienced with product feature development, system integration, and system scaling
You have a strong track record of execution, leadership and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams and x-functional partners
You have an ability to lead and grow multiple excellent engineering teams in a rapidly changing business environment
You have experience working on 0->1 and hyper growth products
Experience in fraud detection and prevention is a plus

The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation in other geographies may vary.

Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. $208,000—$282,000 USD
