About the role:

The Director of Process Operations is an integral leader in the Darwin Homes Third Party Property Management organization. This person will be responsible for leading process improvement “sprints” across the Property Management organization; learning existing workflows and technologies quickly, identifying and implementing improved workflows, and building sufficient process and training materials for the team before you move onto the next process improvement opportunity.

The ideal candidate has deep operational expertise, is quick-to-learn, and has a track record of driving measurable performance improvements in operations businesses.

What you'll do:

  • Optimize processes within the property management organization to improve performance, reduce cost, and deliver measurable and predictable outputs
  • Design and document Standard Operations Procedures and training materials, and enforce their use within the team
  • Analyze data to uncover the root cause of issues and incorporate those learnings into process changes
  • Ensure processes utilize our existing technology stack as effectively as possible to improve communication between teams and deliver on KPIs
  • Foster a culture of accountability within Darwin Third Party Property Management
  • Design an onboarding, training, and performance management program for outsourced team members that delivers standard output and service quality
  • Directly manage teams as needed, as our organization adapts and grows

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Operations leadership experience, with experience in the technology or property technology industries
  • 3+ years of managerial experience, including developing and mentoring talent, a minimum of 3 individuals.
  • 3+ years of designing and managing operations at a (Technology or PropTech Required) processes, with experience driving measurable performance improvements through process design and implementation
  • At least 1 year of experience managing a dispersed team/remote
  • 5+ years of experience using data to derive insights, and using those insights to make decisions. Must be proficient in using data visualization tools (Sigma, Looker, Tableau)

Preferred Experience:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to use SQL to query data
  • Experience collaborating with internal product and data teams
  • Comfort in a rigorous, face-paced environment
  • An intuitive sense for prioritization and relentless focus on execution
