Content Creator and Community Manager

Gardena - Full-Time

Overview

Cover is seeking a talented and adaptable Content Creator and Community Manager to drive our brand’s storytelling efforts, engage with our community, and contribute to our sales, marketing and business development initiatives. As a versatile member of our team, you will wear many hats and take on a wide range of responsibilities, from creating compelling content to managing our social media presence, hosting events, and handling inbound inquiries. We are looking for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is eager to learn new skills, and is passionate about making a significant impact on our growth.

Role

  • Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with Cover’s brand identity and resonates with our target audience.
  • Create engaging and visually appealing content tailored to various platforms, including social media, blog, email, and more.
  • Manage Cover’s social media accounts, ensuring a consistent brand voice and engaging with our community.
  • Host and facilitate events with customers, fostering meaningful connections and gathering valuable insights
  • Respond to inbound inquiries via social media, email, phone, and other channels, providing excellent customer service and generating leads
  • Conduct outbound sales and business development activities, developing relationships with relevant groups and partners
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to plan and execute content-related projects from start to finish
  • Create, curate, and edit visual content in various mediums
  • Develop and manage email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and build awareness
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, news events, platform algorithms, and adapt content strategies accordingly
  • Monitor and report on content performance metrics, using data to inform future strategies
  • Continuously learn and develop new skills to improve the quality and impact of our content
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to the changing needs of the organization

Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience in content creation and social media management.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to create compelling narratives both collaboratively and autonomously.
  • Curious and highly collaborative personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle tasks across multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and adaptive to fluctuating project priorities, with a passion for learning new skills and taking on new challenges.
  • Passion for Cover’s mission and values
  • Proficiency in basic editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and content management systems
  • Experience in handling inbound inquiries or client management support and providing excellent customer service and follow through preferred
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and best practices preferred
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting preferred
  • Exposure to architecture, construction, or real estate preferred

COMPENSATION

All our positions offer a compensation package that includes equity and robust benefits.

The base cash salary for this position ranges from $75,000 - $85,000 per year.

Our compensation package extends beyond cash salary and encompasses various elements that contribute to a comprehensive rewards system. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer equity through stock options, performance bonuses, health and fitness reimbursements, high-quality company-subsidized healthcare, generous paid time off (PTO), and complimentary weekly catered meals available on-site.

Cover’s aims to be competitive with it’s overall compensation packages relative to the market considering the company stage, industry, funding, and location. This market range includes salary, applicable bonuses, and equity – which are each important components of an offer from Cover. More details can be provided during the interview.

Cover’s pay ranges are informed and defined through professional-grade salary surveys and compensation data sources. The actual compensation package offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including the essential functions of the role, experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level, and prior accomplishments.
