Join the power movement as an Inventory Supervisor
As a supervisor on the inventory team, this leader is responsible for enabling the Inventory team to meet company objectives through warehouse and materials management. This role will be the primary escalation point for Inventory requests, originating in our remote facility, across all shifts and the subject matter expert in all systematic inventory procedures. This role will be a first line people leader, responsible for daily reporting and support for all Inventory Coordinators and Production Control Support Specialists.

What you'll do:

  • Enforce and ensure compliance with all CFS Safety guidelines and policies across all shifts, addressing any unsafe conditions or behaviors and maintaining a clean work environment
  • Help develop and implement warehouse layout and design, by optimizing racking, storage, and workflow processes to maximize efficiency and productivity
  • Support the hiring process, on board and train staff and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse functions
  • Lead and coordinate daily work distribution across all shifts to ensure maintenance of accurate records of inventories, shortages, and goods used or moved
  • Direct and verify the receipt and processing of purchase orders, inventory transfers, and stock items, ensuring inventory accuracy and efficiency
  • Supervise and guide team members, conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement
  • Drive continuous improvement through creative problem-solving, 5S initiatives and research
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with the safety team to maintain up-to-date Material Safety Data Sheets and ensure compliance with CFS Hazardous Material storage and handling plans
  • Operate various Material Handling Equipment

What we’re looking for:

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • 5+ years experience in Inventory Control
  • 5 years experience with ERP or WMS
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse design, layout, and optimization
  • Proven experience in Inventory Control processes
  • 2+ Team Leadership experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

  • Strong computer skills with MS office or G-Suite applications (including Excel)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Inventory & warehousing operational knowledge
  • Customer service excellence

Bonus points for:

  • Experience in a start-up or high growth environment
  • Experience in manufacturing environment

Must-have Requirements:

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • Perform activities such as typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods of time
  • Willingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call occasionally
  • Work in a facility that contains industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics
