Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS) has the fastest, lowest cost path to commercial fusion energy.

As a member of the CFS Supply Chain Team you will be responsible for assisting in meeting company objectives by keeping the production line flowing with inventory and material movement. You will be responsible for ensuring orderly and safe distribution of inventory and tooling around CFS properties and buildings while maintaining inventory integrity.
The Production Control Support Specialist will work third shift - 8:30 PM - 5:00 AM.

This team member will:

  • Obey all CFS Safety guidelines and policies on the loading dock and in the warehouse; correct any unsafe conditions or behaviors whiles maintaining a clean work environment
  • Receive and verify purchase orders and stock items appropriately
  • Pick and verify kits
  • Complete physical inventories, cycles counts, random or receipt audits and reconciliations
  • Provide inventory control reports as required
  • Research and correct inventory discrepancies and perform adjustments where needed
  • Identify, document and quarantine any damaged products
  • Assist in maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets for incoming materials
  • Ensure compliance with CFS Hazardous Material storage plans
  • Complete incoming inspection of components with the CFS Quality Assurance and Quality Control team
  • Maintain materials, equipment, and supplies required to meet CFS production needs
  • Maintain physical condition of all staging areas and ensure safety protocols are observed
  • Receive oversized incoming shipments, verify purchase order information, identify non-conforming or damaged parts and stock items appropriately
  • Obey and enforce CFS Safety guidelines and policies on the loading dock and in the warehouse; correct any unsafe conditions or behaviors while maintaining a clean work environment
  • Ability to operate various material handling and powered equipment and obtain a DOT License

The ideal candidate will have most, if not all, of these requirements:

  • Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Required Experience: 5+ Years combined experience in warehousing, Inventory Control or Shipping & Receiving
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Inventory & warehousing operational knowledge

Additional experience and/or qualifications:

  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
  • Experience in start-up or high growth environment
  • Manufacturing/shop floor environment experience
  • Ability to be crane certified
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • Perform activities such as stopping, typing, standing, sitting, climbing ladders, operating scissor lifts and operating a crane for extended periods of time
  • Willingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call occasionally
  • Dedication to safety to mitigate hazards that may include heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, and cryogenics
