We are on the lookout for a talented Electrical Engineer to join in the electrical design, integration, and debugging of multi-system robots. You will be working closely with a dedicated team to bring our electrical designs from prototype to production, ensuring our robots can seamlessly integrate into human environments.

This role is located onsite at our Santa Clara, CA headquarters.

Applicants must graduate prior to August 2025 to be eligible for this role. The application deadline for this role is January 1st, 2025. Interviews will take place mid-January 2025, for Summer 2025 start dates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive electrical design and integration for our innovative multi-system robots, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, including mechanical, thermal, software, firmware, and manufacturing, to debug and refine full system designs.
  • Drive the development of testing and validation methodologies to guarantee the efficacy and safety of our electrical systems.
  • Engage with partner engineering teams to streamline the electrical design process, from component selection to PCB layout and system bring-up.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • At least one internship with focus on electrical design and execution.
  • Experience in debugging and testing electrical designs, with an understanding of hardware design principles including Signal Integrity and Power Integrity.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic start-up environment.
  • Must have and maintain US work authorization.
  • Must be willing and able to start work in Summer 2025.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in component selection, schematic capture, and custom PCB layout design.
  • Skilled in system architecture, requirements definition, and system analysis.
  • Background in designing electromechanical systems.
  • Capable of developing and executing electrical bring-up and validation plans.

The base salary range for this position is $130,000-$140,000 annually plus equity and comprehensive benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and experience level. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in Santa Clara, CA. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
