Skills and Competencies
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse, global and cross-functional teams and manage large-scale projects and should be able to o work both self-directed and as part of a team, with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong analytical, people management and problem-solving skills with experience handling large data sets and maintaining data accuracy across key systems
- Proven experience supporting senior leaders in high-pressure environments requiring rapid decision-making and strong situational awareness
- Ability to understand business operations end-to-end with structured thinking to assess complex organizational interdependencies across regions, business units, sites and functions
- Experience managing real-time crisis events involving people, IT systems, third parties or site disruptions, with strong people-management capabilities for both direct and matrix reporting structures
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation), including facilitation, documentation, training and reporting
- Experience using or supporting crisis management software and emergency alerting tools; experience with integration of acquired companies preferred
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
Education
- Graduate degree in related field
- Relevant professional experience within Resilience is preferred
- Professional certification in business continuity management (BCI, DRI) preferred
Responsibilities
The Crisis Regional Manager will report to the VP – Business Resilience and lead a team of four Analysts responsible for monitoring and responding to crisis situations in real time.
- 10+ years of previous experience in Business Continuity, Operational Resilience or Crisis Management
Proactively horizon scan for potential events impacting MCO and escalate or advise as appropriate - Act as point of escalation to support Crisis Operations & Business Crisis Management Teams during real-time events
- Deliver the Crisis Management program across MCO, managing the lifecycle of Crisis Management Plans, Emergency Response Plans and Hazard Assessments aligned with Business Resilience priorities
- Maintain and review Business Resilience governance and program documentation
- Maintain reports including project tracking, location status, Key Risk Indicators and Corporate Scorecards
- Provide training and guidance to Business Management and designated roles; support program testing, exercising and global awareness initiatives
- Collaborate with Risk Management, Technology, People, Procurement, Facilities, Corporate Security, Legal and Compliance teams
- Provide coaching and guidance to Analysts, allocating resources based on business priorities and reviewing deliverables for quality and timeliness
- Provide flexibility in supporting direct reports and other team members for coverage as needed
- Manage and deploy Crisis Management & Incident Management applications within Fusion Risk Management and Emergency Notification systems; extract and analyze underlying data independently
- Provide out-of-hours and weekend support during significant crisis events
- Should demonstrate high vigilance skills, quick decision-making, strong project and shift management, including cover for direct reports (occasionally EMEA).
- Requires stakeholder management, Office 365 proficiency (Power BI desirable), familiarity with crisis/risk tools, and ad hoc support to Corporate Risk & Resilience initiatives

The Global Business Resilience team supports 90+ locations by helping local teams manage
incidents while providing centralized Crisis Management support. We work to reduce the
impact of disruptive events through proactive planning, exercising and strong cross
functional partnerships. The team increasingly uses AI-enabled tools to streamline crisis
monitoring, enhance data analysis and improve operational efficiency, while maintaining a
