Title: Senior Software Engineer
Location: 1414 South Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28203
Duties: Develop and implement a modern technology ecosystem to support various functions. Use advanced DevOps practices to enable fast feedback loops using automation, containers, infrastructure as code, feature flags, deployment testing, and automatic rollbacks. Support multiple lines of businesses or applications of medium to highly complex technologies at global level with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity and accessibility. Assist with developing baseline technology standards, tools, platforms, and processes in support of overall technology and data strategy. Work closely with business and technology colleagues to create services built using modern, consumer focused solutions. Champion "target state" application support model and drive toward its realization. Participate and help in the integration of architecture solutions, design patterns, technical strategy, and roadmaps. Collaborate and work with technical leadership to design and build the complex solutions. Develop new user-facing features and build UI components library. Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code. Create unit testing and integration tests. Provide thought leadership in proper implementation of processes and tools that best align with organization’s strategic objectives.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical field plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a Software Engineer, Technical Consultant, or in a related position performing software development and designing technical solutions. Must have experience with the following: architecting, designing, developing, and implementing solutions to support enhancements and bug fixes in existing and new applications; designing, developing, and maintaining data integration/ETL data pipelines from various data sources and data formats; implementing and applying knowledge of data quality best practices and data governance principles; applying knowledge of multithreading concepts, design patterns, and software development methodologies, including Agile, and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment for applications development; working with PL/SQL, Postgres, Python, Informatica, AWS database and cloud technologies, Tableau, Unix, Shell, GitHub, GitActions, BitBucket, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Kafka, C#, .Net, Angular, WebAPI, EF Core, MS SQL Server, JIRA, Service Now, Confluence, and Subversion (SVN); working with open source code and frameworks.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $154,669 to $169,000, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
