Skills and Competencies
8+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering with advanced proficiency in Python.
Strong knowledge of data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Pydantic.
Expertise in performance tuning of Python code and optimization of financial models for scalability and efficiency.
Solid understanding of mathematical concepts: linear programming, MILP, probability theory, and statistical analysis.
Skilled in working with various database technologies for data storage and retrieval.
Familiarity with caching engines like Redis for high-performance applications.
Practical experience with mathematical solvers like Gurobi and its Python library GurobiPy preferred.
Exposure to LLMs, Gen AI, Agentic AI concepts and frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph is desirable.
Strong grasp of software engineering best practices for maintainable and reliable development.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.
Understanding of financial market principles, especially Structured Finance and Private Credit, is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with proven teamwork experience.


Education
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field is required.

Responsibilities
Design and implement advanced financial models using Python and mathematical solvers like Gurobi.
Establish robust validation mechanisms to ensure model accuracy and data quality.
Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into precise technical specifications.
Apply modular and standardized approaches to model development for consistency and auditability.
Optimize algorithms and code for speed and efficiency when processing large financial datasets.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of models, assumptions, and methodologies for transparency.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly, demonstrating strong analytical skills.
Communicate project progress clearly and regularly to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
