We do this by striving to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to be who they are—with the freedom to exchange ideas, think innovatively, and listen to each other and customers in meaningful ways. Moody’s is transforming how the world sees risk. As a global leader in ratings and integrated risk assessment, we’re advancing AI to move from insight to action—enabling intelligence that not only understands complexity but responds to it. We decode risk to unlock opportunity, helping our clients navigate uncertainty with clarity, speed, and confidence.

If you are excited about this opportunity but do not meet every single requirement, please apply! You still may be a great fit for this role or other open roles. We are seeking candidates who model our values: invest in every relationship, lead with curiosity, champion diverse perspectives, turn inputs into actions, and uphold trust through integrity.

As Head of the European Solutions Delivery Team, you will lead a team of professionals responsible for consultancy and client implementation projects delivering Moody’s data solutions across a range of delivery mechanisms and use cases. This role combines strategic people leadership, delivery excellence, and senior client engagement.

You will lead and develop a Europe-based team, ensuring consistent delivery standards, strong customer outcomes, and close alignment with Product, Sales, and Client Success teams. You will help shape the direction of the European Solutions Delivery organization, balancing scalability, quality, innovation, and people development.

This role is critical to ensuring that European client engagements deliver measurable business outcomes, while continuously evolving delivery practices to support AI-enabled, data-centric solutions.

Reporting to the Head of Global Solutions Delivery, this role operates as part of a global Solutions Delivery leadership team, with responsibility for regional ownership while maintaining strong alignment on global strategy, governance, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the European Solutions Delivery team, providing clear direction, performance management, and fostering a strong culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Build, scale, and retain a high-performing regional organization through hiring, talent development, succession planning, and engagement.
  • Own the successful delivery of complex client implementations involving APIs, ERP/CRM connectors, and data-driven solutions, ensuring projects meet agreed timelines, quality standards, and commercial expectations.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for delivery risks, client concerns, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Champion standardized, “gold‑standard” delivery practices, reusable delivery assets, and continuous improvements to methodology, onboarding, training, documentation, and tooling.
  • Engage with senior client stakeholders to align on objectives, outcomes, and long-term value realization.
  • Partner with Sales and Account Management to support pre-sales scoping, solution design, and delivery feasibility.
  • Translate client feedback and delivery insights into structured input for Product and Platform teams.
  • Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Data teams to ensure delivery readiness and product adoption.
  • Contribute to roadmaps by representing delivery and client realities across the European market.
  • Drive operational alignment with global Solutions Delivery leaders to ensure coherence across regions.
  • Track delivery performance, utilization, and KPIs using internal systems and dashboards.
  • Support the adoption of AI-enabled delivery practices, ensuring responsible, value-driven usage aligned with Moody’s standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in SaaS, data, or enterprise software implementation roles.
  • Proven experience leading teams with a strong focus on coaching, development, and performance management.

  • Strong background in API-based solutions, data platforms, and enterprise integrations.
  • Experience working with CRM and ERP ecosystems (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP).
  • Demonstrated success managing complex client stakeholders and delivery escalations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to operate at executive level.
  • Strong judgment in balancing delivery rigor, customer needs, and commercial realities.
  • Fluency in English required; additional European languages are a plus.

Preferred / Differentiating Experience

  • Experience delivering data, analytics, or AI-enabled products.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, data models, and integration patterns.
  • Track record of contributing to organizational transformation or scaling initiatives.
  • Strong coaching and leadership presence, with experience developing future leaders.
