Partnerships Management: The team manages critical relationships with regulators and donors (individual, corporate, scholarships), driving impact through partnerships with governments, NGOs, donors, think tanks and academia to make high-quality education accessible in underserved communities.About the Role: The Fundraising Manager drives fundraising efforts across donors for Programmes, developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to ensure long-term sustainability. You will lead multi-channel fundraising, design donor journeys and campaigns to increase revenue and engagement, and report to the Group Managing Director as part of the leadership team. This is a hybrid role located in Nairobi, Kenya.What You Will Do:- Fundraising Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive, innovative strategy; diversify revenue across bilateral, multilateral, foundations, corporate and individual donors.- Grant Writing & Proposal Development: Research opportunities; lead grant applications and proposals aligned with donor requirements and organizational objectives.- Donor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with donors and partners; ensure regular engagement for long-term partnerships.- Event Management: Organize donor engagement activities, fundraising campaigns/events, academy visits and community initiatives.- Reporting: Track progress, maintain donor records, manage grant timelines and reporting schedules.- Compliance: Ensure compliance with donor requirements and legal/ethical standards.- Internal Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Communications, Academics and leadership to align initiatives with mission and priorities.- Budget Management: Develop and manage the fundraising budget.- Data Management: Analyze/report on fundraising metrics to inform decisions.What You Should Have:- 5+ years in fundraising or grant management with a proven track record across multilateral, bilateral, foundation and corporate donors.- Bachelor’s in Business, Communication, International Studies or related; Master’s a plus.- Strong knowledge of donor landscapes in developing economies.- Excellent grant writing and communication; ability to craft compelling narratives.- Exceptional stakeholder relationship skills; event planning and project management.- Experience with tracking/data analysis tools; familiarity with online fundraising/digital campaigns a plus.- Self-motivated, organized, able to manage multiple priorities; passionate about the mission.You’re also: a detailed doer; a creative problem-solver; a relentless advocate; a malleable learner; a data-driven decision-maker; a curious investigator.Submit your application here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe1Rk3PHorJ41p2DM4J-XHEF4fWPb-OZfP5CIrpiB4bEXJZtA/viewformDeadline: Applications reviewed on a rolling basis.
