How You Fit In

Reporting to the VP of Global Customer Onboarding and Delivery, we are currently seeking a top-notch Technical Program Manager II (Contract) who is fluent in both English and Italian and will be operationally responsible for rolling out Bidgely’s innovative energy management solutions to our utility customers in Europe. As a key member of the European team, you will be utilizing your outstanding hands-on project management, technical and client engagement skills to deliver the solution on time and within budget. As a Technical Program Manager II (Contract) you will:

Project Management

  • Acquire a deep understanding of the energy market and how Bidgely can play a disruptive role in creating a more energy-efficient future

  • Understand Bidgely SaaS products in order to influence product development plans and schedules

  • Be the face of Bidgely for the customer during the implementation phase and beyond, owning the relationship, defining success metrics, and being an advocate for them internally

  • Manage new customer implementations end to end from Onboarding to Launch utilizing Project Management best practices such as standing project meetings, engineering stand ups, gantt charts, status reports, decision logs, change requests, governance committees, cost tracking, etc.

  • Interact cross-functionally with Delivery/Product Engineering, Product Support, Strategy & Growth, Sales, and more in support of the customer

  • Contribute to contract reviews for new deals and change orders.

  • Represent the Onboarding Team in sales presentations as needed.

Technology

  • Own the overall solution design & development for utility customers and work with our global engineering team. This includes requirement analysis, customer journey scope discussion, data integration, design, solution architecture, implementation, delivery, customer facing technical issue resolution and discussion.

  • Be a product expert at Bidgely by collaborating with utility customers to understand requirements, mapping requirements to product features, performing product gap analysis and finalizing the product customizations and changes.

  • Manage project deliverables, and ensure quality on on-time delivery, and ensure quality through a hands-on approach.

  • Produce technical and product documents that clearly define the customer requirements and solution design in collaboration with the customer IT and engineering development teams.

Skills and Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands on experience at a fast-paced and/or SaaS experience

  • Experience in the energy efficiency or related industries

Required Qualifications:

  • Written and verbal fluency in both English and Italian

  • 5-7 years of software integration project experience at a technology or consulting company

  • Experience in working with globally distributed teams virtually

  • Successful track record personally delivering complex, cross-functional projects

  • Ability to work with customers post launch to hit their business goals

  • Ability to convert project-level success into future account level sales opportunities

  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies

  • Detail-oriented and comfortable planning and tracking projects via Wrike, Smartsheets, Jira or other modern project management tools

  • Communication and comprehension of technical issues when working with the customer and our engineering teams

  • Be comfortable with large data sets

  • Comfortable multitasking on several simultaneous projects

  • Strong interpersonal and written and communication skills

  • Open and highly collaborative mentality especially with the European sales team

Location

  • This is a remote role with location in Europe

Travel

  • Domestic and International travel to customer sites up to 10% of the time

  • Most travel will be within the Europe with potential trips to Bidgely headquarters in California and India

Compensation

  • Base salary is €55,000-€75,000 with up to a 15% performance based bonus per year
