Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics, Computer Science or a closely related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in software development with a focus on computer vision and/or robotics.
  • Proficient in Python and C++.
  • Experience with perception libraries such as OpenCV, PCL, PyTorch3D.
  • Demonstrated ability in machine learning and algorithm evaluation.
  • Ability to:
    • Apply new perception and learning algorithms to real-world problems.
    • Develop on and debug real robotic systems.
    • Operate autonomously.
  • Familiarity with system design, and design patterns.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics, Computer Science or a closely related field.
  • Practical experience with machine vision (RGB and grayscale 2D cameras, 3D sensors).
  • Familiarity with modern deep learning techniques such as CNN/ViTs
  • Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch
  • Experience with annotation tools like Scale, CVAT, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability in grasp point generation, object detection, point cloud processing, anomaly detection, or automatic sensor calibration.
  • Experience in API development, including RESTful services, and/or gRPC.
  • Robotic manipulation experience.
  • Understanding of parallel/distributed systems and asynchronous/concurrent programming.
  • Knowledge of the material handling field.
  • Experience with the Robotic Operation System.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB).
  • Experience with GPU acceleration (CUDA) and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team collaboration to ensure high-quality solutions.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in perception and robotics, evaluating applicability to our challenges.
