As an Associate QA Apprentice, you will work closely with QA engineers, developers, and product teams to validate product functionality and improve software quality through structured testing practices.
This role offers hands-on experience in software testing, quality processes, and modern QA tools while contributing to the development of enterprise-scale AI platforms.
About the role
- Assist in executing manual test cases for web, API, or mobile applications.
Support the QA team in test case creation, execution, and defect reporting.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools.
- Participate in functional, regression, and exploratory testing activities.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and validate features.
- Help validate new releases and deployments in test environments.
- Assist in analyzing test results and preparing test reports and documentation.
- Contribute to improving testing processes, test coverage, and quality practices.
About you
- Basic understanding of Software Testing concepts and SDLC/STLC.
- Familiarity with manual testing techniques such as functional and regression testing.
- Basic knowledge of web applications and APIs.
- Understanding of bug tracking tools (JIRA or similar).
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Passion for software quality and continuous learning..
- Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Basic knowledge of programming/scripting (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
- Understanding of API testing tools like Postman.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
