Job Summary
Symphony RetailAI professional Services team is looking for interns to help our customers who use our retailAI based solutions.
About thr role
- Run basic SQL queries on SQL Server to validate data, troubleshoot issues and prepare simple reports
- Support implementation activities by maintaining project artifacts, status trackers, meeting notes and action items
- Draft and update knowledge base articles, FAQs and runbooks to improve self-service and team efficiency
- Contribute to UAT by preparing test cases, executing test scripts, capturing results and retesting fixes
- Assist with data checks, field mappings and load verifications across environments; help investigate data quality issues
- Participate in customer calls and internal stand-ups with a mentor; follow up on assigned tasks
- Help coordinate patch and release activities, including scheduling, checklists and smoke testing
- Create simple automation or analysis scripts (if comfortable) and lightweight dashboards to support reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Cloud Ops, Product, QA) during issue investigation and resolution
About you
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering
- Familiar with SQL fundamentals (SELECT, JOINs, filtering, basic aggregations) and eager to deepen skills in SQL Server
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication; customer empathy and a service-oriented approach
- Self-motivated, organized and able to manage multiple tasks with guidance in a fast-paced environment
- Nice to have: exposure to retail domain concepts; basic understanding of data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) and ETL (e.g., Azure Data Factory); scripting skills (e.g., Python); experience with BI/reporting tools
