Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Consultant with strong expertise in Supply Chain Planning and retail operations to support the implementation of SymphonyAI SCPO solutions for global retail customers.

This is a customer-facing role focused on US retailer rollout support, requiring close collaboration with business stakeholders, product teams, and implementation teams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in demand planning, inventory optimization, store operations, and master data management, along with the ability to lead workshops, define future-state processes, and support successful solution deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Discovery & Process Design

  • Lead discovery sessions and business workshops with retail customers to understand current-state processes, challenges, and business objectives.
  • Design future-state supply chain planning processes aligned with customer goals and SymphonyAI SCPO capabilities.
  • Translate business requirements into functional solution designs and implementation plans.

SCPO Implementation & Configuration

  • Configure and support supply chain planning modules across demand planning, replenishment, inventory optimization, and related planning functions.
  • Partner with technical teams to ensure successful setup of master data, planning parameters, and business rules.
  • Validate solution outputs and ensure alignment with customer requirements.

Customer Engagement & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Work closely with customer teams across merchandising, planning, supply chain, store operations, and IT.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, identify risks proactively, and ensure timely issue resolution.

Testing, UAT & Go-Live Support

  • Support test planning, test execution, and user acceptance testing activities.
  • Coordinate defect tracking, issue resolution, and process validation during implementation.
  • Provide go-live support and post-implementation stabilization for customer rollouts.

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

  • Develop detailed process documentation, solution design documents, and training materials.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for customer teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process optimization opportunities during and after implementation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field.
  • 6–10 years of experience in supply chain planning, retail operations, or enterprise software implementation.
  • Strong experience in demand planning, inventory optimization, store operations, and master data management.
  • Experience leading customer workshops, gathering requirements, and defining business processes.
  • Strong understanding of retail supply chain operations and planning workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and Excel for analysis, validation, and reporting.
  • Ability to work in a customer-facing environment and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience supporting UAT, go-live, and hypercare activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with supply chain planning or retail planning platforms.
  • Exposure to implementation projects for US-based retailers.
  • Familiarity with replenishment, assortment planning, forecasting, and allocation processes.
  • APICS or CPIM certification preferred.
