Technical / Solution Architect – G.O.L.D Core Retail Suite

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical & Functional Architect for the SCM GOLD platform to lead the design and delivery of complex retail supply chain implementations. This role requires deep expertise across both functional supply chain processes and technical architecture, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable solution designs.
The Architect will work closely with clients, Professional Services, R&D, and partner teams to ensure successful implementation, integration, and deployment of SCM GOLD solutions across large scale retail environments.
This role is critical for high visibility programs and will provide architectural leadership from solution design through implementation, UAT, and production cutover.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture & Design
- Lead end to end solution architecture for SCM GOLD implementations, ensuring alignment with client business goals and SymphonyAI product capabilities.
- Translate complex retail supply chain requirements into scalable functional and technical solution designs.
- Define system architecture, integration frameworks, and configuration strategy across SCM GOLD modules.
- Guide design decisions across forecasting, replenishment, inventory optimisation, and supply chain planning capabilities.
Technical Leadership
- Provide hands on architectural guidance for system configuration, customisation, integrations, and performance optimisation.
- Partner closely with R&D teams to ensure product capabilities align with client requirements and implementation strategy.
- Support technical teams in resolving complex implementation challenges and architectural trade-offs.
- Ensure best practices across data architecture, APIs, and system integrations.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead technical and functional discussions with client executives, program leaders, and technical teams.
- Act as the primary architecture authority during design workshops, solution reviews, and executive checkpoints.
- Provide architectural guidance during UAT, testing cycles, and production deployment.
- Support client change management and adoption of SCM GOLD capabilities.
Program Delivery Support
- Collaborate with Professional Services, Partner Delivery teams, and Implementation Leads to ensure solution integrity throughout the program lifecycle.
- Provide oversight during key delivery phases including design validation, system build, UAT readiness, and production cutover.
- Support risk mitigation and architectural governance for complex implementations.
Required Experience
- 10+ years of experience in retail supply chain technology implementations.
- Deep expertise in SymphonyAI SCM GOLD platform (technical and functional).
- Proven experience designing and delivering large scale supply chain planning solutions.
- Strong understanding of retail planning, forecasting, replenishment, and inventory optimisation processes.
- Experience working across solution architecture, system integration, and enterprise deployment.
- Ability to lead complex client facing discussions with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating with product teams, delivery teams, and global partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering large enterprise retail transformation programs.
- Strong background in supply chain data architecture and system integration.
- Experience supporting UAT, testing governance, and deployment strategies.
- Ability to mentor implementation teams and guide architectural best practices.
