We are seeking a Senior Developer to join our team in Morocco. This role is a great fit for developers who enjoy variety in their day-to-day work, appreciate the stability and challenges of AS400 and DB2 systems, and want to collaborate with top-tier retail businesses in an international environment.
Job Description
What you’ll do
- Design, develop, and implement new features and customizations for client-specific requirements within the WMS platform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and system anomalies reported by clients.
- Perform unit testing to ensure quality and reliability of all new developments and fixes.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes, qualify their needs, and offer innovative solutions.
- Participate in drafting detailed specifications for new functionalities or client customizations as needed.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing features, ensuring high system performance and client satisfaction.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (DUT Informatique or equivalent)
- Proficiency in AS400, SQL DB2, and CLP
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to document and present technical information clearly
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on active listening and understanding client needs
- Analytical, organized, and attentive to detail, with the ability to synthesize complex information
- Collaborative team player who adapts well to changing priorities
- Ability to work effectively and remain resilient under pressure
- Strong commitment to meeting deadlines and fulfilling client expectations
- Readiness to participate in an on-call rotation.
- The following would be a plus:
- Previous experience in the logistics or supply chain industry and/or and understanding of logistics processes
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Working knowledge of COBOL
