Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Sales and Solution Shaping

  • Partner with Sales to qualify opportunities and lead discovery sessions with retailers across Iberia, uncovering business objectives, pain points, and success criteria.
  • Translate client requirements into solution scope, high-level architecture, delivery approach, timelines, and budgets.
  • Own and coordinate RFI/RFP responses, proposals, SOWs, and effort estimates, ensuring alignment across Sales, Solutions, Product, Engineering, and Support.
  • Design and deliver compelling demos, workshops, and PoCs/pilots tailored to stakeholder personas (executive, IT, operations); define and manage success criteria and outcomes.
  • Build value cases, ROI/TCO models, and benefit realization plans to support consultative selling and executive decision-making.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and assumptions early; negotiate scope, timelines, and commercial terms; participate in deal reviews and bid governance.
  • Maintain accurate pre-sales pipeline hygiene in Salesforce and contribute to forecasting, qualification, and go/no-go decisions.

Project Delivery and Account Growth

  • Lead end-to-end project management for multiple retail technology implementations across Iberia, from kick-off to go-live and adoption.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring ongoing satisfaction.
  • Coordinate cross-functional internal teams (Sales, Solutions, Development, Support) to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Maintain and proactively address risk logs, escalating issues as needed.
  • Conduct regular status meetings, manage documentation, and deliver reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to delivery, maintaining continuity of scope, assumptions, and success metrics.
  • Identify and capture upsell or cross-sell opportunities and expansion roadmaps in partnership with Sales.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, data privacy, and security requirements in the region.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to optimise project delivery and customer experience.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent certification highly regarded.
  • 5+ years’ experience in project management within SaaS, retail, FMCG, or technology, with a strong track record delivering complex enterprise implementations.
  • 3+ years’ hands-on pre-sales, solution consulting, or bid management experience, including leading discovery, crafting proposals/SOWs, estimating, and managing PoCs/pilots.
  • Demonstrable ability to create ROI/TCO models, compelling presentations, and value narratives for executive stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of the Iberian retail market; fluency in English and Spanish (Portuguese advantageous).
  • Technical fluency to engage on topics such as cloud SaaS, integrations/APIs, data pipelines, analytics/AI, and security/privacy.
  • Excellent organisational, multi-tasking, leadership, and negotiation abilities; executive presence and consultative storytelling skills.
  • Experience with project and pre-sales tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Salesforce/CPQ, PowerPoint/Excel).
  • Willingness to travel across Iberia as needed.
