Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Manager – Professional Services who has proven experience in leading enterprise SaaS implementations, technical project delivery, and client solution engineering in retail and cloud-based environments.

This role blends technical leadership, project delivery ownership, and client engagement, ensuring successful implementation of SymphonyAI solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in cloud platforms, data engineering, SaaS implementations, and distributed systems, along with a proven ability to manage global delivery teams and complex client programs.

About the role

Professional Services & Project Delivery Leadership

  • Own end-to-end delivery of enterprise SaaS implementations for global retail clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Lead program and project governance including planning, scheduling, risk management, scope control, and delivery reporting.
  • Establish delivery frameworks, execution methodologies, and implementation playbooks to drive consistent project success.
  • Manage multiple concurrent client implementations and drive predictable delivery outcomes.

Technical Solution Oversight

  • Provide technical leadership and architecture guidance across SaaS implementations, integrations, and data transformation programs.
  • Guide teams on designing and implementing data ingestion, transformation, and analytics pipelines.
  • Review and approve technical designs, integration strategies, and deployment approaches.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary technical and delivery escalation point for client engagements.
  • Partner with customer business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment through executive updates, solution workshops, and roadmap discussions.
  • Manage customer expectations and proactively address delivery risks and challenges.

Team Leadership & Delivery Excellence

  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including data engineers, solution architects, developers, and QA teams.
  • Drive adoption of Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD delivery practices.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and technical capability development across delivery teams.
  • Establish engineering and delivery quality standards including code reviews, testing strategies, and release governance.

Operational Excellence & Knowledge Management

  • Develop reusable delivery accelerators, templates, and implementation frameworks.
  • Lead knowledge transfer sessions to support client onboarding and internal capability building.
  • Drive platform upgrade strategies, modernization initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Establish strong documentation, deployment runbooks, and support transition processes.

About you

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 15 or more years of experience in Professional Services, technical delivery, or SaaS implementation leadership.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale enterprise SaaS deployments and client-facing programs.
  • Experience delivering cloud-native and data-intensive enterprise solutions.
  • Strong experience managing globally distributed delivery teams.
  • Strong program and project management capabilities across complex enterprise implementations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.

Strong expertise in:

  • Azure Cloud Architecture and Services.
  • Snowflake Data Platform.
  • Databricks, Apache Spark, and distributed data processing.
  • SQL Server, Azure SQL, and large-scale data modeling.
  • Microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven integration architectures.
  • DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
  • Performance monitoring, observability, and system reliability practices.

Domain expertise:

  • Good understanding of retail technology ecosystems including merchandising, pricing, supply chain, POS, or customer analytics platforms.
  • Experience delivering multi-tenant SaaS solutions and enterprise system integrations.

Good to have:

  • Experience working with AI/ML-driven analytics platforms.
  • Exposure to real-time streaming technologies.
  • Experience managing data migration and cloud modernization initiatives.
  • Certifications in Azure, Cloud Architecture, or Project/Program Management (PMP, SAFe, etc.).
