Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Solution Lead with expertise in the G.O.L.D Core Retail Suite to join our Professional Services team. The Solution Lead will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and delivery of G.O.L.D solutions to our retail clients. Serving as a trusted advisor, you will work closely with clients, business analysts, technical teams, and product specialists to ensure the successful adoption and optimization of SymphonyAI’s retail technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate expertise in grocery (fast-moving consumer goods) retail and merchandising best practices.
  • Manage complete customer implementations or major work streams as the primary project manager.
  • Manage executive level communication.
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of G.O.L.D Core Retail Suite modules, acting as a primary point of contact for client projects.
  • Analyse client business requirements, map processes, and architect solutions leveraging the G.O.L.D suite.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and solution design meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Configure, test, and deploy G.O.L.D solutions, ensuring alignment with client objectives and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including solution designs, test scripts, configuration guides, and training materials.
  • Oversee data migration, integration, user acceptance testing, and transition to support.
  • Provide expert guidance on retail operations (inventory, pricing, promotions, master data management, store systems) related to the G.O.L.D platform.
  • Support client onboarding and change management activities to maximize adoption.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal product, support, and engineering teams to resolve issues and deliver value.
  • Mentor junior consultants and team members in G.O.L.D product knowledge and implementation best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience implementing or supporting retail ERP solutions, with proven expertise in the G.O.L.D Core Retail Suite (Symphony RetailAI/Symphony GOLD).
  • Deep knowledge of retail operations and business processes (merchandising, inventory, store management, pricing, replenishment).
  • Strong functional and technical understanding of G.O.L.D modules (G.O.L.D Central, G.O.L.D Shop, G.O.L.D Stock, etc.).
  • Experience delivering projects in an Agile or Waterfall project environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to design, configure, and test complex retail solutions with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills; able to work effectively with senior client stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
