SymphonyAI is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Software K/Q/C Engineer to join our Retail division. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving client success by managing key accounts, fostering long-term relationships, and delivering innovative AI-driven solutions. You will work alongside a talented team to help our retail clients optimize their operations and achieve their business objectives in an ever-evolving market landscape.
As a Software Developer, you will be highly skilled with in the following K3/Q/KDB++/C. Experience with C is preferred. Your primary focus will be developing K applications, components and potentially complementary C libraries. You’ll implement them within SymphonyAI's 1010data tech stack.
You will help build out and maintain our core 1010 stack, our core data analytics platform, and other products.
You will ensure that you produce robust, secure, modular, and maintainable code. You will coordinate with other team members, including back-end developers and UX/UI designers. Your commitment to team collaboration, perfect communication, and a quality product is crucial.

What you will bring to SymphonyAI:
- Highly proficient in C and/or K
- Knowledge of functional programming
- Ability to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean code
- Experience with both consuming and designing RESTful APIs
- Strong understanding and appreciation for big data
- Interest and willingness to quickly pick up a new language (K)
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
