SymphonyAI is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, Retail-CPG Sales Operation to join our Retail division. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving client success by managing key accounts, fostering long-term relationships, and delivering innovative AI-driven solutions. You will work alongside a talented team to help our retail clients optimize their operations and achieve their business objectives in an ever-evolving market landscape.
This role will be pivotal in helping our sellers operate more efficiently and maintain focus on closing business.
Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development, this individual will take ownership of critical Sales Operations activities including PO tracking and management, order processing, billing, and coordination across Sales, Legal, Customer Success, and Finance to ensure smooth and error-free deal closure.
Additionally, this role will act as a primary resource for Salesforce support within the sales team, driving system adoption, optimization, and training. The Manager will also partner closely with the Head of Client Success on forecasting and reporting initiatives, providing strategic insights that impact the broader SymphonyAI organization.
Job Description
What you will do:
- Manage and streamline post-sales processes including purchase order tracking, order processing, and billing
- Serve as the go-to expert for Salesforce, supporting the sales team with day-to-day usage, data hygiene, reporting, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to eliminate bottlenecks and reduce friction in the late stages of the sales cycle
- Partner with the Head of Client Success to support forecasting and develop reporting for business insights
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance internal efficiencies and customer satisfaction
- Monitor and analyze post-sales performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure a high-quality, consistent customer experience during the contracting process
What you will bring to SymphonyAI:
- 3-5+ years of related work experience in Sales Operations, Deal Desk or Sales Finance
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong task management skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactive problem solver who thrives on taking ownership and driving outcomes.
- Excellent communicator with strong listening skills and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Deep familiarity with Salesforce, with a focus on enablement, reporting, and user support.
- Experience building and / or using sales performance reporting in a CRM, Power BI or similar software
- Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and keen ability to prioritize tasks to ensure business critical objectives are met
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Understanding of the sales cycle and common pain points sellers encounter with a desire to drive improvements
- Prior exposure to SaaS technology is preferred but not required
- Ability to drive productivity working in a remote, fast paced environment
