Introduction

SymphonyAI is on a mission to lead the next wave of vertical AI — not just as a technology provider, but as a true transformation partner across industries. We have a temporary need for a Product Marketing Consultant to provide coverage during an employee’s leave. This assignment is expected to continue through year-end.

Job Description

What You’ll Do
• Be the PMM point person for our divisions — ensuring product launches land with clear messaging, customer relevance, and a strong go-to-market backbone.
• Align product narratives with our company-level positioning — translating solution-specific features into business value aligned to our vertical AI brand pillars.
• Create high-impact content to support launches and pipeline — messaging frameworks, sales decks, one-pagers, use case briefs, customer stories, and thought leadership.
• Work closely with divisional sales teams to understand what's working, what’s missing, and what’s slowing down deals — and then help fix it.
• Act as a strategic partner to product and engineering teams, helping them articulate product value in a way that resonates with customers and the market.
• Collaborate with the comms and demand teams to make sure our best product stories fuel PR, campaigns, analyst conversations, and executive content.
• Operate globally — working with teams in North America, Europe, and Asia to support consistent messaging and content needs across regions.
• Help raise the bar for PMM across the company, supporting teams that are early in their product marketing maturity and filling critical gaps as needed.

What You Bring
• 8–12 years of experience in product marketing, solutions marketing, or strategic GTM roles — ideally in B2B SaaS, AI, or vertical-specific tech.
• Experience working across a portfolio or matrixed org — you know how to lead without direct authority and thrive in the gray space.
• Ability to connect the dots between product features, industry challenges, and customer outcomes — and translate that into tight, compelling messaging.
• Strong storytelling and writing skills — you can simplify the complex without dumbing it down.
• High comfort level working with sales teams — even if enablement isn’t your whole job, you know what they need to win.
• Global perspective and experience supporting international go-to-market teams.
• Speed, ownership, and an eye for what moves the needle — you’re not waiting for direction; you’re already two steps ahead.
• Come with your favorite AI tools to help you move faster, write better, and think bigger — whether it’s for drafting, summarizing, or generating new campaign ideas.
• You use AI to accelerate, not just automate — from message testing to research to smart content creation.

Bonus Points
• Industry depth in retail, manufacturing, financial services, or media
• Experience launching AI or analytics-based products
• Past experience improving product marketing maturity or building PMM functions from the ground up

This consulting engagement follows a hybrid model, requiring on-site presence at our Palo Alto, CA headquarters three days per week.
