We manage the platform that supports our innovative software solutions for regulatory compliance, fraud, and financial crime detection, investigation, and reporting. Our team ensures ongoing reliability for customers and supports the wider business with DevOps best practices.


Job Description

What you’ll do:

  • Work as part of the Cloud Platform team in close co-operation with the product development teams and QA who are delivering the product artefacts.
  • Work closely to support our Professional Services and Cloud Operations teams who onboard and operate solutions for our SaaS customers.
  • Design, develop, release and maintain CI/CD tools and processes using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Maintain and optimize our Cloud Hosted (Azure/AWS) development environments.
  • Integrate and manage the operation of automation solutions for cluster scaling, load balancing, and resource optimisation.
  • Troubleshoot process and tool-related issues to drive issues to resolution.
  • Integrate proprietary applications with standard monitoring tools such as DataDog and implement notifications systems for administrators.
  • Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of new technologies.

The below is what an ideal candidate would look like.

Essential:

  • 2+ years of DevOps or Site Reliability experience
  • Experience with at least one major public cloud environment. Azure is a plus.
  • Strong command of English in professional and technical contexts.
  • Strong discipline of using ITSM tools (ideally JIRA and Confluence)
  • Experience with source code management tools such as GIT.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Familiarity with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies – Scrum, Kanban.
  • Good shell scripting skills using Bash.
  • Production experience with creating, running and maintaining stateful applications in containers (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
  • Production experience with creating and upgrading containers orchestration platforms such as on-premises Kubernetes, AWS EKS, Azure AKS, OpenShift.
  • Experience with CI/CD systems, particularly GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
  • Experience with configuring and maintaining observability of the containerized applications (ideally through DataDog).
  • Experience with backup and recovery procedures for Postgres, MinIO.
  • Understanding and experience with securing applications on Kubernetes using network policies and RBAC.
  • An interest in Artificial Intelligence and the ability to utilise it to improve your own efficiency.
