Job Description
Join SymphonyAI Financial Services as Software Testing (Automation) Engineer and work in our Financial Crime Prevention Product Engineering team. We develop innovative software and solutions for regulatory compliance, fraud, and financial crime detection, investigation, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality assured automation scripts using web & API (REST/SOAP) based automation tools (e.g. Selenium, RestAssured).
- Coordinate with developers to build and execute test cases for new or updated Product Features.
- Participate in daily scrum calls and use the body of knowledge to explain progress and propose possible solutions for blockers.
- Work with the leads to help collate quality metrics and contribute to measures intended to increase automated test effectiveness and efficiency.
- Investigate root causes of functional issues and provide corrective actions.
- Coordinate work of fellow QA Test Automation Engineers, as appropriate within the AGILE framework of current project.
- Reporting of regular test project status to QA Manager and key project stakeholders. Proactively suggest and implement QA process improvements to address issues in the project test process, including coordination across different team disciplines.
- Suggest and implement refinements to the overall NetReveal Product QA test strategy, in conjunction with the NetReveal QA Manager. Emphasis will be placed on the ongoing use of GenAI technologies to streamline QA test execution timeframes, while maintaining quality.
Pre-requisites:
- Knowledge of and experience in designing and developing automation scripts using automation tools. We prefer Selenium, Selenide, and RestAssured.
- Familiarity with any automated test framework preferably Cucumber, BDD etc.
- Experience contributing to the development/implementation of automation test tools.
- Experience in scripting and executing functional and non-functional tests
- Experience using defect and test management tools (e.g. JIRA) to track defects and manage tests.
- Experience working on projects using an Agile framework.
- Experience in problem solving around test preparation and execution of a team of 4+ test automation engineers.
- Experience in refining the test automation process within a broader software product delivery framework.
- Experience with any of the following tools and technologies would be beneficial but is not essential:
- writing Java code
- working with version control systems (e.g. Git)
- using Web Services (REST/SOAP)
- using Application servers (WebSphere or Tomcat or JBOSS)
- using IDEs (e.g. IntelliJ, VScode etc.)
- Microservices architecture & Cloud Serverless technologies
- Continuous Integration tools (e.g. Jenkins, Team City) and has high level knowledge of Infrastructure as Code.
- Use of Generative AI tools in test case creation and/or execution.
