APAC Sales Operations Lead

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic professional to join our team, initially in a dual Sales Operations and Bid Management capacity. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for managing sales operations activities, coordinating bid management processes, and providing executive support directly to the Head of Sales. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our sales team, optimizing sales processes, and driving business growth.


Job Description

Responsibilities:

Sales Operations

CRM Management

  • Oversee and maintain our CRM systems, including Salesforce and HubSpot, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and enforce CRM usage standards, data quality, and best practices.
  • Train and support sales team members on CRM usage, reporting, and tracking.

Sales Tracking and Reporting

  • Develop and manage a robust system for tracking sales activities, including pipeline management, deal progress, and revenue forecasting for the APAC Sales team.
  • Generate comprehensive reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to the Head of Sales and other senior stakeholders.
  • Analyse sales data, identify trends, and make recommendations for sales process improvements.

Sales Forecasting

  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Sales to create accurate sales forecasts based on pipeline of work and tracking input from sales teams.
  • Monitor and analyse forecast accuracy, identify areas of improvement, and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Support the sales team in setting and achieving realistic sales targets.

Bid Management

  • Identify and assess bid opportunities in the financial crime prevention sector.
  • Lead the end-to-end bid process, coordinating with sales, pre-sales and other cross functional team to compile and deliver compelling proposals.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of SymphonyAI Financial Services’ product offerings to effectively articulate value propositions in bids.
  • Ensure compliance with both internal bid procedures and client requirements.
  • Manage all aspects of proposal submission, including writing, editing, and formatting proposals.
  • Record and analyse external and internal feedback on submitted bids to continuously improve the bid strategy and process.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform bid strategies.
  • Collaborate with the internal teams to enhance company visibility and positioning for future bid opportunities.

You will also be expected to perform ad-hoc tasks as requested, including acting as a primary point of contact for the Head of Sales, screening and prioritizing emails, calls, and other communications, as well as preparing and editing documents, presentations, and reports. You may also be required to provide RFP / RFI support for Pre-Sales teams, and undertake special projects and assignments as directed by senior stakeholders, demonstrating a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

You will ideally possess:

  • Proven experience in sales operations, bid management, and executive support roles.
  • Expertise in CRM systems, particularly Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be proactive and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in sales forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Familiarity with bid management processes and best practices.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills.
