Job Description
This person will be part of a team of experts who are responsible for handling network support, problem management, managing network performance and proactively identifying issues before they become customer affecting. This team provides 24x7 support to its office/datacentre operations and global customer connectivity.
Key Activities:
- Perform support, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring and tuning for the data network at all locations including WAN, LAN, SLB, Security and campus networks.
- Implement security best practices within network design and work with security specialists to minimize vulnerabilities.
- Remote management and monitoring of Network Operations.
- Level 2 and Level 3 support for Incident Management / ticket resolution.
- Creation of MOP/SOP and planning Change management process.
- Create/update network documentations.
- Work with Telecommunication Service Providers to resolve escalated circuit problems to resolution.
- Planning and Perform upgrade of network and security devices.
- Work with Hardware/Software Vendors to resolve problems.
- Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Investigating faults in the network.
Your profile:
- Senior Network Engineer with 4.5 to 10 years of experience in Network operations and troubleshooting.
- Strong Technical subject matter expertise on F5, NetScaler, Cisco Nexus, Meraki, Palo alto Platform Network solutions.
- Experience in Meraki wireless, firewalls, and switches.
- Engineer who has a passion and understanding for providing outstanding customer service.
- Good Communication Skill.
- Experience in VPN, SLB technology is mandatory.
- Experience with packet capturing and protocol analysis (Wireshark, TCPdump etc).
Certifications Preferred:
- CCNA/CCNP
- F5 BIG-IP
- PCNSE
