Job Description
| ● ITSM/ ITAM Product Management's role is to work with ITSM/ITAM and business leaders at Summit to define and execute a
successful product management strategy for Summit's IT Asset Management and Software Asset Management
offerings (products and services).
● ITSM/ITAM Product Management will develop techniques to support and engage with both technical and non-technical
audiences to influence and lead product development.
● This role will ensure the ITAM Organization has an effective product management lifecycle and methodology that
is followed and maintained.
● This is a key role in supporting ITAM stakeholders in collecting, processing, and presenting data, as well as
defining and implementing new controls and performance metrics to support the wider Summit business.
● Oversee Product Management within the ITAM team, expand and oversee team or virtual team of ITAM Product
Managers as growth requires.
● Take leadership and responsibility for existing ITAM products currently being supported.
● Take leadership and accountability for ITAM products currently under development.
● Engage with senior leaders, customers, and marketplace contact to define, maintain, and deliver the ITAM product
strategy.
● Define and oversee the ITAM Product Roadmap
● Ensure ITAM products are defined based on requirements and guide the product buildout of the ITAM internal
ITAM development, technical and service delivery teams
● Develop and maintain the ITAM product structure and hierarchy
● Work collaboratively with business, data and technical stakeholders to make sure that ITAM systems are designed
in accordance with the appropriate data architecture.
● Maintain a strong relationship between the team and the stakeholders through open, transparent, and influential
communication.
● Work together with the ITAM Management to define the data points that need collecting to fulfill specific ITAM
Team goals.
● Document business requirements for subsequent ITAM Product enhancements that need to be supported by the
internal ITAM development, technical and service teams.
● Engage with other Summit Teams to collaborate in the delivery of integrated services. Exceptional leadership skill ● Exceptional analytical skills.
