Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic Presales Solution Consultants to join our team and play a crucial role in selling SaaS-based technology solutions in the ITSM/ESM/ITAM/Automation/ITOM domains. In this role, you will collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering teams to deliver technical solutions and consulting services to customers and partners in India. Your primary objective will be to provide technical solutions, develop solution documents, proposals, and presentations, respond to RFPs, and conduct demos and PoCs to achieve our sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Focus: Drive effective and swift technical solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Product Demonstration: Demonstrate products and technologies effectively to audiences with varied technical knowledge.
- Stay Updated: Keep current on product developments, releases, competitive analysis, and articulate key differentiators.
- Business and Technical Understanding: Comprehend business and technical problems addressed by solutions, including key regulations, business drivers, and evolving needs.
- Sales Process Management: Proficiently manage and execute sales processes and planning, including strategic account planning and management.
- Pre-Demo Analysis: Assist the sales team in qualifying customer needs and performing pre-demo needs analysis.
- Customized Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations, both standard and tailored, to prospective and existing customers, both onsite and virtually.
- Demo Script Creation: Create product demo scripts and scenarios and maintain demonstration environments.
- Solution Integrity: Ensure solutions stated in the Statement of Work align with client requirements and best practices.
- Sales Bid Process: Manage the sales bid process by responding to RFIs and RFPs.
- Collaboration: Work with Sales to ensure successful sales process completion and liaise with Product Managers to provide client feedback.
- Market Awareness: Keep abreast of market trends and competitive landscapes.
- Marketing Support: Support marketing events such as user conferences, trade shows, and webinars.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Development and Implementation teams to deliver the right solutions to customers.
- Travel: Travel within the region to meet customers and partners as needed.
Requirements:
- ITIL Proficiency: ITIL V3/2011 proficiency or Expert certification.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional English communication and presentation skills.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of Presales experience in ITSM/ITOM solutions such as ServiceNow, BMC, HP, or CA.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with tools like ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, HPSM, CA Service Desk Manager, Manage Engine, etc., is desirable.
- Web Technology Expertise: Current technical expertise in web technology and the ability to learn new technologies.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of infrastructure, network, and database concepts.
- Development Knowledge: Functional knowledge of scripting and application development technologies like Java, .Net, JavaScript, etc.
- Bid Experience: Experience in bid and presales environments, particularly with large-scale ServiceNow bids.
- Sales Support: Proven track record of supporting sales teams to win new business in new and existing accounts.
- Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adept at working with multiple stakeholders.
