JOIN US! Our Dutch team seeks a Junior CPG Insights Specialist to join their successful supplier collaboration team. This role is based in the Netherlands, in our Symphony Retail | CPG Division.

This is a great opportunity to work with a friendly and knowledgeable team in a role where you will be able to expand your skills as you work with the Netherlands' leading retailer and their clients from market well known brands!

Our partnership with Ahold Delhaize started in 2013 and we have built out a team that partners, collaborates and supports Albert Heijn on supplier collaboration matters. The team uses SymphonyAI Retail's insights and tools to drive Albert Heijn, Etos and Gall&Gall's revenue growth. We are proud of the year on year growth we have achieved!

As a member of our supplier collaboration team for the Shopper InSide (SIS) program, you will contribute to driving customer based collaborative engagement with many CPG manufacturers. As a junior coach you will steer collaboration between your portfolio of CPGs and the retail banners, coworking (predominantly in Amsterdam) or homebased, but also visiting the CPGs or our retailer.

You will receive all relevant training on our tools so that you are equipped with the knowledge you need to be successful.


Job Description

Key Responsibilities:-

Reporting to the CPG lead coach, this role will:

  • Provide consulting to CPG users on the effective use of customer insights in a retail environment
  • Provide training and coaching to CPG users on how to apply customer data methodologies and approaches to solve key business issues
  • Drive ongoing CPG engagement between CPGs and retailer against current and emerging business issues and opportunities
  • Advocate the utilization of SymphonyAI web-based tools, tailored reports and support services
  • Manage and coordinate queries from CPG users in collaboration with the broader team
  • Assist the broader team with coordination of relevant support services
  • Partner with the broader team so help achieve SymphonyAI Retail’s commercial plans and revenue targets

Key Requirements:

  • A clear understanding of category and/or brand management and awareness of recent developments in the grocery retail sector
  • Some prior experience in retail category management, CPG organization or relevant consultancy
  • Strong communication skills – being clear and concise especially when articulating actions
  • Self starting ability as well as a strong team player ethic
  • Enthusiasm
  • A bachelor’s/ master’s degree or equivalent
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in Dutch as well as in English

Nice to have:

  • Experienced in generating actionable insight out of data
  • Prior coaching and training experience
