SymphonyAI Sensa-NetReveal is looking for a Project Manager to join our team - combining a blend of technical, management and leadership skills to play a pivotal role in the team-based delivery of technically focused work including system development and integration projects.
Job Description
What you will be doing:
You will be accountable for the delivery of a project or programme with responsibilities including:
- Management of client engagements and business development opportunities.
- Production of estimates and project plans.
- Successful delivery of the project to time, quality and cost. Taking appropriate cost reduction measures such as early mitigation of risk to reduce overall cost of delivery and spend of contingency.
- Preparation of work orders and project documentation (PID/PMP, status reports, change control notes and other key documentation).
- Selection and application of project delivery methods/lifecycle.
- Identification and management of risks and issues with an impact on delivery and finances.
- Work closely with and drive delivery of your team, particularly working closely with project technical architects and development teams.
- Day to day project/delivery management of technical delivery teams including task assignment and review. Recruitment, selection, allocation and performance management of your team members.
- Support new business development and contribute appropriately to proposals and/or propositions Management of scope and requests for change.
What we are looking for:
- Bespoke software development experience.
- Strong stable, company career background and an appetite for success
- Prince 2, APM or similar project management qualification.
- Experience of Agile development.
- Ability to quickly grasp the business problem that requires to be solved and the technology solution being developed.
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills, including a passion for working with others within NetReveal and client facing, external stakeholders to solve problems.
- Excellent understanding of estimation with ability to provide reasoned estimates of the timescales and costs involved in development and system integration projects, drawing on technical experts who will be using several complementary techniques including top-down and bottom-up approaches.
- Ability to shape and undertake assignments or work streams within larger programmes.
- Capable of effectively managing technical teams and providing clear direction to mixed workstreams, involving both clients and/or additional third parties to deliver the project collaboratively.
- Able to influence and persuade others with tact and authority balancing empathy for clients and a commercial focus – for example, negotiating contract change requests.
- Excellent understanding of the impact of change on delivery plans and manage change control tightly, guiding the client (for example, whether to implement changes in current workstream or suggest future development phases).
- Ability to manage and control all project risks and issues, escalating risks/issues with suggested solutions as appropriate whilst controlling resources and spend within the project budget and timeline.
