Job Description
- Coach, develop and manage a small Proceedix DevOps team, coach the manager of the Proceedix software testing team and closely monitor project progress of our developers and integration engineers. (Team is based in Ghent and nearshore in Serbia)
- Be the senior/expert developer and coach for core development activities
- Coach senior technical team members : mobile (flutter) development team lead, front-end development team lead (React) and backend (.NET) team lead
- Be the sparring partner of the Proceedix stakeholders in Product Management, Customer Success and include the Ghent Site Manager
- Own the Connected Worker development roadmap and release plan execution
- Ensure the development team is fully informed and focused to meet project deadlines
- Create operations, structure and (SOC2) processes supporting the day-to-day development and testing activities
- Orchestrate the development roadmap and the release planning in close collaboration with the product management team.
- Organize daily status meetings, coordinate development and testing activities and keep all stakeholders informed.
- Oversee implementation of formal processes to support development process and supervise IT administration processes in line with SOC2 Type 2 certification and culture
- Provide guidance on technology and architectural design choices
- Review technical specifications and perform code reviews
- Ensure CISO compliance
- Strong relevant experience of at least 8-10 years in professional software development
- Experience as a software development project leader
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with the .NET ecosystem, React and Azure
- Familiarity with mobile development is a plus
- Knowledge of IT project management methodologies such as Scrum and/or Kanban
- Demonstrated ability to develop and lead a high-performing software organization
- Self motivation with the ability to work in an entrepreneurial work environment
- Master’s degree in Software Engineering or ICT
- Azure DevOps and experience with B2B/Enterprise software scaling in an international context would be an advantage but not essential
