SymphonyAI is looking for an entrepreneurial Product Management leader who is experienced in building Insights & AI products that amaze and delight our users, can help drive product innovation and values moving quickly to results.

The Product Manager takes a lead role in defining and executing product direction – from deeply understanding customers’ strategic problems to envisioning and designing highly usable solutions that help those customers solve those problems completely, quickly, and effectively. In this role, you will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, data scientists, data architecture, AI model developers and other cross-functional team members within the organization. The Product Manager will be responsible for developing product enhancements for leading retailers and CPGs within our Customer Insights Products portfolio.

Working closely with colleagues from different teams, you’ll provide expert guidance and support to define the vision and roadmap and ensure its delivery, including involvement in ‘go to market’ activities. You will have a clear understanding of how to create value for our customers in a manner we can bring to market with retailers and CPGs. You will use your strategic thinking and approach to cement your role as the trusted partner to the business.

Job Description

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive product strategies and roadmap aligned to the broader product and company vision
  • Guide product development with a globally distributed team of world-class engineers and designers
  • Engage with end-users and internal account teams on a regular basis to better understand their needs and gather feedback on ideas and roadmap features
  • Leverage tightly integrated cross-functional teams to solve key problems faced by our clients
  • Own the product backlog, define, and scope user stories to drive desired business and customer impact
  • Plays an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of release/sprint goals.
  • Coordinate and motivate a cross-functional team aligned to a single vision
  • Stay close to the market identifying new opportunities or risks
  • Support documentation for training teams
  • Provide input to Sales team for product demos and slideware showcasing key product differentiators and highlighting future industry-leading roadmap features
  • Contribute to team SOTA goal of identify the best AI models and technologies to achieve superior results for a given task
  • Define, track, and communicate metrics that help understand how well initiatives are meeting objectives and to define future priorities

What You Need:

  • Batchelor’s degree or relevant experience
  • Experience in product management or closely related role
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Entrepreneurial mind set
  • Technologically minded with a love for solving problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Background in Generative AI and NLP with experience in areas like language model evaluation
  • Understanding of scrum and Agile development methodologies
  • Managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Prompt engineering using chatbots and Large Language Models
  • Machine Learning and Data Science
  • Applying design thinking principles
  • Working with retailers or CPGs
  • Utilizing customer purchase data and behavior
  • Solving problems with cross-functional colleagues
